How to use sparkle kaomoji
The sparkle faces are built in two layers: an ordinary kaomoji in the middle, and decoration around it — ✧ ｡ ・ ゚ ☆ scattered on both sides. (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・゚✧ is the face (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ with the sparkle trail attached, and the two halves can be separated: keep the trail, swap the face.
The star used here is ✧, not the emoji ✨. That is deliberate — ✧ is a text character and stays the colour of your text, so it sits inside a username without turning into a coloured picture. Add ⋆｡°✩ or ｡ﾟ✧ around your own name and you get the same effect on any text, not just on a face.
Questions
What do the sparkles around the face mean?
Nothing on their own — they are decoration, the text equivalent of drawing motion lines. ✧ and ☆ are stars, ゚ and ｡ are small circles used as spacing, and : and * fill the gaps. Their job is to make the face look like it is shining or moving.
Can I use the sparkles without the face?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses. Take the trail from any face here — ⋆｡°✩ or *:・゚✧ — and put it around your own name. It works in a bio, a username or a caption, because every part of it is a normal character.
Why not just use the ✨ emoji?
You can, but it behaves differently. ✨ is always drawn as a coloured picture at emoji size; ✧ takes the colour and size of the text around it. For a name or a one-line bio the text version usually looks cleaner, and it does not get stripped in places that filter emoji.
