How to use dainty symbols
Dainty symbols are tiny marks, picked for exactly that. ˚ is the ring from å written on its own, ‧ is a hyphenation point, ₊ and ⁺ are a subscript and a superscript plus, and 。 is the half-width full stop from Japanese text. Alone they are almost nothing; strung together as ‧₊˚ or ⋆˚。⋆ they make the soft, sparkly lines of the dainty aesthetic.
Dainty is close to coquette and the bow set, but quieter: no bows, fewer hearts, more air. A simple dainty bio has one tiny combo after the name, a frame like ˚₊‧ Mia ‧₊˚ and a dotted divider · · ─ · ✧ · ─ · · between lines. Because the marks are so small, they dress up a short name without crowding it, for example a TikTok name or a Discord nickname.
Almost every phone can draw these, and anything your own device cannot draw is hidden from this page. The rarer ones are ꕀ, a syllable of the Vai script of Liberia, and ᐟ, a mark from Canadian syllabics; for a name everyone must see, stay with ⋆ ˚ ♡. The emoji group at the end — 🤍 🩰 🫧 — is in colour.
Questions
What are dainty symbols?
Tiny, light characters — ⋆ ˚ 。 ‧ ₊ ⁺ ✧ ⟡ — used in small groups to make a bio look soft and delicate. They are ordinary Unicode text, so they paste wherever plain text is allowed.
What is the difference between dainty and coquette symbols?
Coquette is built around bows and lace — ୨୧ ♡. Dainty drops the bows and keeps the tiny sparkles and dots, so it reads lighter. A dainty divider and a single coquette bow work well together.
How do I make a dainty divider?
Copy one like · · ─ · ✧ · ─ · · or ‧₊˚ ┈┈┈┈ ˚₊‧ and paste it on its own line. Dividers made of dots stay short enough to fit a bio on a phone screen.
Do dainty symbols work in a username?
Not in the @handle: TikTok and Instagram take only letters, numbers, dots and underscores there. In display names, bios and captions, yes — put the symbols around your name.
