How to use butterfly symbols
There is no butterfly character in Unicode apart from the emoji 🦋, so text butterflies are built from letters. ƸӜƷ puts a reversed ezh Ƹ and an ezh Ʒ, two Latin letters, around the Cyrillic Ӝ — they read as two wings and a body. ʚïɞ uses two letters of the phonetic alphabet as the wings, and Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ is the old chat-room version, with strokes through the letters and hooks under them. Being letters, they take the colour of your text, like the wing symbols.
The combos are ready-made: 🦋⋆｡˚ after a name, ꒰🦋꒱ as a small accent, or a divider like 🦋 ┈┈ 🦋 ┈┈ 🦋 between lines. They mix the emoji with plain marks, so they come out in colour. In a bio or display name the name frames work as they are: ƸӜƷ Mia ƸӜƷ. A game name is stricter. Some games show emoji as empty boxes, players say Free Fire and PUBG do not take a plain space, and every mark counts toward a short limit, so keep it tight: ʚMiaɞ. Is there a butterfly symbol that is not an emoji?
Not as a single character — the only butterfly in Unicode is the emoji 🦋. The text butterflies ƸӜƷ, ʚïɞ and ʚɞ are letters arranged to look like one, which is why they stay in your text colour.
How do I type a butterfly symbol?

Can I put a butterfly in my Free Fire or game name?
Use a text butterfly rather than the emoji, and leave out the spaces: ʚMiaɞ or ƸӜƷMia. Every mark counts toward the name limit, and games differ in what they accept, so try the name in the game before you settle on it.
Why does the butterfly look different on my friend’s phone?
The emoji 🦋 is drawn by each phone maker in its own style, so its colour and shape change between iPhone, Android and Windows. The text butterflies are letters and look much the same everywhere.
