How to use AOV names
Liên Quân Mobile is the Vietnamese version of Arena of Valor, the five-on-five MOBA that Garena runs in Vietnam and, as RoV, in Thailand. A name there is built from parts: a mark like 亗, 彡 or ツ, sometimes a frame such as ꧁ ꧂, and a short word. Garena publishes no list of allowed characters. Vietnamese guides say a name takes about 12 characters and that the game does not accept a plain space, so every ready-made name here is 12 characters or less, has no spaces and no emoji — use ・ or 丶 between words instead. Symbols are copied in from outside the game, and a mark the game’s font lacks may show as a box, so if a name is refused or looks wrong, drop one symbol and try again.
To rename, tap your avatar on the main screen, tap the gear icon and choose Rename (Sửa tên), type the new name and confirm; the window shows how many Rename Cards it costs. Guides from 2023 put a Rename Card at 90 Quân Huy in the shop’s Items tab, and the season’s Mission Book and events give a few for free. How long can an AOV name be?
About 12 characters, according to Vietnamese guides for Liên Quân; Garena publishes no exact rule. Every ready-made name here is 12 characters or less; if yours does not fit, drop the frame on one side — ꧁Warden instead of ꧁Warden꧂.
Why can’t I put a space in my Liên Quân name?
Guides say the game does not accept a plain space in a name, so none of the names here has one. To split two words, put a mark like ・ or 丶 between them — Anh丶Ấy reads as two words and goes through as one name.
How do I change my name in Liên Quân?
Tap your avatar on the main screen, tap the gear icon and choose Rename (Sửa tên), type the new name and tap OK. The window shows how many Rename Cards you need; you can also open your inventory, pick the Rename Card and use it.
How much does a Rename Card cost?
Guides from 2023 give 90 Quân Huy, about 45,000 dong, in the shop’s Items tab. The Mission Book gives three or four free cards a season, and events sometimes add more; prices can change, so check the shop before you buy.
