What this site knows about you

The short version
SymbolsKit is free and has no ads. Nothing here is sold to anyone, and there is no account to create. The site counts what people copy so it can tell which symbol sets are worth building — that is the whole reason the measurement exists.
What gets stored on your device
A random identifier, how many times you have visited, your theme choice and which sets you liked. All of it lives in your browser's local storage, not on a server, and it is not linked to a name, an email or an IP address. Clearing your browser data for this site erases it completely and permanently.
What gets sent to us
When you copy a symbol, like a set, share a page or open the app dialog, the site records the event: which page, which symbol, whether you have been here before, and the browser you are using. It is stored in Google Firestore. No message you type anywhere else on your device is readable by this site, and the page has no access to your clipboard's existing contents — copying writes to it, it never reads from it.
Google Analytics
The site loads Google Analytics 4, which sets its own cookies and receives your approximate location, device type and the pages you open. Google is the data processor for that. If you would rather it did not run, an ad blocker or Google's own opt-out add-on stops it, and the rest of the site keeps working normally.
Ahrefs Web Analytics
The site also loads Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without setting any cookie and without building a profile of you across sites. It records the page address, the referring site, and a coarse country — nothing that identifies you. It is here because Google Analytics is blocked inside several in-app browsers, so on its own it undercounts.
Your email
If you enter an email to hear about the app, it is stored separately and used for exactly that. No newsletter, no resale, no third-party marketing lists. Ask and it gets deleted.
