How to use cutecore symbols
Cutecore is the soft, slightly odd corner of cute: round faces like >⩊< and (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶), tiny sparkle marks ᵎᵎ and ୭, bunny ears ₍ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ₎, and rows of little cups ⏔⏔⏔ instead of straight lines. It borrows from coquette and kaomoji, but it is less about lace and more about plush toys, sweets and pets.
Most people build one of three things with it. A name frame — ꒰ name ꒱ or ˗ˏˋ ꒰ name ꒱ ˎˊ˗ — for a display name or the first line of a bio. A divider between lines, where ︵︵︵ ๑ ♡ ๑ ︵︵︵ or ◡◡◡◡◡ does the work of a ruler. And a face at the end of a caption, which is where cutecore reads best: one face, not five.
The sweets row mixes text marks with emoji like 🧁 🍓 🐾. Those come out in colour, and they will not go into game names — Roblox and Free Fire refuse them; for a name that has to stay plain text, take a frame and a face. Some marks here are borrowed from smaller scripts (ა from Georgian, ୭ from Oriya), so an older phone can show a box; ♡ ⋆ ✧ are supported almost everywhere.
Questions
What is the difference between cutecore and coquette?
Coquette is ribbons, lace and soft hearts — ୨୧ ♡ 𐙚. Cutecore is rounder and sillier: faces like >⩊<, bunny ears ₍ᐢ. ̫ .ᐢ₎, cup dividers ⏔⏔⏔ and sweets. Many bios mix both; the bow from coquette sits well inside a cutecore frame.
How do I put a frame around my name?
Copy a frame like ꒰ ꒱ or ໒꒱, paste it, and type your name between the two halves — ꒰ Mimi ꒱. For a frame that works in more places, keep to the plain ones; the long ones with ˗ˏˋ and ˎˊ˗ are for bios, where there is room.
Why do some faces look broken on my friend's phone?
A face like ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა is built from characters of several scripts, and an older phone may lack one of them. The simple faces — >⩊< •⩊• (≧ᗜ≦) — use common characters and show up almost everywhere.
Can I use cutecore symbols in a TikTok or Instagram username?
In the display name and bio, yes. The @handle itself takes only letters, numbers, dots and underscores on both apps, so the decoration lives around your name, not in it.
