How to use bio symbols
Every bio here is plain Unicode — the same category of thing as a letter or a comma. Nothing is installed and nothing is an image, so the shapes travel with the text into a Discord About Me, a TikTok bio, an Instagram bio or a Telegram description.
The limits are the part people hit first, and they are not the same everywhere: TikTok gives you 80 characters, Instagram 150, Discord 190 in the About Me field. That is the practical reason the templates here are short — a three-line soft bio is already close to the TikTok ceiling before you add your name.
Counting is stricter than it looks. Platforms count in code units rather than visible marks, so a character from outside the basic set — 𐙚 is the common example — costs two where ♡ costs one. The number shown on each template is the honest count of visible characters; assume a little less room than that on TikTok specifically.
One thing that never works, on any platform: the @handle. TikTok, Instagram and Discord all restrict the account name itself to letters, digits, dots and underscores. Symbols go in the display name and the bio, never in the @.
Questions
How do I paste this into my Discord bio?
Tap the bio to copy all its lines at once, then in Discord open User Settings → Profile → About Me and long-press to paste. Replace the word “name” with yours. Line breaks survive the paste on mobile and desktop alike.
Why did my bio get cut off?
You went over the limit — 80 characters on TikTok, 150 on Instagram, 190 in a Discord About Me. Characters outside the basic set count as two, so a bio that looks like 70 marks can be rejected as 80. Drop a line or use simpler symbols and it will fit.
Can I put these symbols in my username?
In your display name, yes. In the @handle, no — that field takes only letters, digits, dots and underscores on TikTok, Instagram and Discord alike. This is a platform rule, not a font problem, and there is no way around it.
Why do some of these show as empty boxes?
Your device has no font covering that character. We measure what your device can draw and hide anything it cannot, so everything you see here will paste correctly for you. Someone on an older phone may still see a box — the Minimal set is the safest if that matters.
