How to use fancy text symbols
Each line is your text rebuilt out of different Unicode characters. These are not fonts. A font is a file your device installs; what you are copying here is a separate set of characters that happen to be shaped like styled letters — 𝓪 is not an a in a script font, it is MATHEMATICAL SCRIPT SMALL A, its own character with its own number.
That distinction is the whole reason this works. Because the styling lives in the characters themselves, it survives the copy. Paste into a TikTok bio, an Instagram caption, a Discord display name or a Twitter handle field, and the shape comes along — no app, no formatting, no HTML.
It also explains the two catches. A device without a font covering those characters draws empty boxes instead, which is why we hide any style your own device cannot render. And screen readers announce these letter by letter as mathematical symbols, so a whole bio written in one of them is unreadable to anyone using one — a few words is fine, a paragraph is not.
Questions
Will this work in my TikTok or Instagram bio?
Yes. These are ordinary Unicode characters, the same category of thing as a letter or a comma, so any field that takes text takes them. Copy a line and paste it straight in.
Why do some styles show as boxes?
Your device has no font covering those characters. We measure what your device can draw and hide the styles it cannot, so everything you see on this page will paste and display correctly for you. Someone on an older phone may still see boxes.
Is this a font I am installing?
No, and that is what makes it portable. Nothing is installed. Each style is a different set of Unicode characters shaped like styled letters, so the look travels with the text into any app.
Can I use it for a username?
It depends on the platform. Discord display names and nicknames take them. Roblox usernames and display names do not — that field is letters and digits only. Most bio and caption fields are fine.
